Three kilometres of sand and around thirty beach clubs, each served by its own vineyard lane — narrow, often unmade, poorly signposted and impossible to pass on. It is the area where the exact address matters most on the whole Riviera: saying "Pampelonne" is not enough, you need the name of the beach club. The village itself spirals up its hill, entirely pedestrian, with an entrance car park and a view over the vines. Cap Camarat and its isolated villas close the commune to the south-east. All of this happens between May and September; the rest of the year Ramatuelle is very quiet. Nice Airport is 1 hr 40 away.
