It is a classic trap: many travellers believe they are arriving in Draguignan and find themselves a quarter of an hour's drive away. The station takes TGV and regional services, and serves the whole Dracénie as well as part of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez by the inland route. It is modest in size, with clear vehicle access and a straightforward pick-up. It is also the most practical station for the wine estates of Lorgues, Flayosc and Taradeau, and for the Var hinterland. From Les Arcs, Draguignan is a quarter of an hour away, Sainte-Maxime three quarters of an hour, Saint-Tropez an hour, and Nice Airport 1 hr 15.
